Augustine O. Igwe has an exceptional track record and experience representing insurance and reinsurance companies, insurance agents and third party administrators, onshore and offshore captives, and other corporations, in the areas of regulatory, compliance, litigation management, formation, merger, acquisition and general corporate law.

Igwe graduated with honors from Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland, where he earned his B.S in Business Administration and M.B.A. in Finance. He earned his J.D. Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 1987. He was the Brief Editor of the First Place Team in the Cardozo Third Annual Entertainment/Communication Moot Court Competition, New York, and April 6, 1986.

Igwe is active in various insurance and regulatory professional organizations, including the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel. He serves as an Officer and Council Member of the State Bar of Michigan Insurance and Indemnity Law Section.
